Compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming early intervention and key worker support for children and families in Geelong and the surrounding areas

Here You Grow exists to provide families and caregivers with a child-centred, strengths-based approach to early intervention and key worker support for children with developmental differences or diagnosed disabilities. I’m not about ‘fixing’ kids (they’re not broken!) but instead, observing and listening to the unique ways they communicate and responding to their needs with empathy and respect. My approach is warm, playful and grounded in the belief that our kids are doing the very best they can with the skills and resources they have. I extend that belief to caregivers, and can promise non-judgmental, supportive guidance to understand and enhance your child’s development.

Hello! I’m Jess Argento!

I’m an experienced teacher with post-grad studies in intervention, but I’m also a mum who gets it. My time in schools, including working with many students who have additional needs, did little to prepare me for the reality of raising a neurodivergent child who struggles socially and emotionally and shows us in the only way he knows how… with big behaviours.

Here You Grow was born from my desire to combine the professional skills and knowledge I’ve gained across 16 years of working in schools, with the lived experience and immense compassion I have for children and families navigating the early years of developmental differences and disability.

I’m passionate about inclusion and firmly believe in setting kids up for success. In the words of Dr Ross Greene, “Kids do well if they can”. They sure do… and so do adults!

I would love to help you better understand and support your child. With the right skills and strategies on board, you and your little one absolutely can do well!
